Michael McCaskey is chairman of the board of the Chicago Bears Football Club. Under his guidance, the Bears have had numerous playoff appearances, division titles, and has won the Super Bowl. He received the highest honor bestowed on a football executive following the 1985 Super Bowl season when his peers voted him as The Sporting News NFL Executive of the Year. Following his graduation from Yale in 1965, McCaskey spent two years with the Peace Corps teaching in Ethiopia. He earned his doctorate in business from Case Western Reserve University before teaching at UCLA and the Harvard Business School. McCaskey is married to Nancy and has two children.
